Beaches

Cannes

In Cannes, you find both public and private beaches. Private beaches most often belong to hotels or restaurants and often charge a cost for the sunbeds.

Lifeguards are available on all beaches, as well as shower and toilet. There is also a rich selection of restaurants either on or near the beach.

You can lie down and take it easy for a whole day, or take a brake with any of the activities- both on land and in the water.

Iles de Lerins

Off the coast of Cannes there are four islands, Iles de Lerins. The two largest islands are Sainte-Marguerite and Saint Honorat and it takes about 15 minutes by boat from La Croisette in Cannes. It cost about 15 Euro (round trip). The two smallest islands can only be reached by private boat. Many people visit Sainte-Marguerite to enjoy the beautiful scenery, but many also choose this as a break from the crowds in Cannes to have a calm beach day.

It also offers restaurants and green spaces for a lovely picnic.

Antibes

Also in Antibes you will find fantastic beaches similar as in Cannes. South of the harbour, Port Vauban, lies Antibes most visited beach. In Juan les Pins you will find more and bigger beaches to choose from and also a wider range of water sports activities.
